    From a nuclear lake to a haunted forest, journalist David Farrier visits unusual -- and often macabre -- tourism spots around the world.

      Mörk turism lockar miljontals med gäst till mängder av platser runtom inom världen. Börjar ni titta runt inom era egna närområden därför kan jag garantera för att ni hittar platser ni knappt kände till alternativt tidigare ens betraktat liksom platser tillsammans mörk turism. Jag besitter flera platser i Jämtland som jag inte ens reflekterat ovan på detta sättet tidigare men vilket jag idag ser tillsammans andra ögon på.

      Häromsistens blev jag tipsad om en radioinslag inom SR P1 om detta här tillsammans dark tourism då min resebloggarkollega Gunilla på mil var tillsammans med i programmet. Hon äger själv skrivit ett inlägg på temat och detta fick mig att tänka på vilka platser kring mörk turism som jag själv besökt. Det verkar inte förbättrad än för att jag existerar en riktigt morbidturist sålunda i detta här inlägget listar jag platser kring mörk turism som jag själv besökt plus ett liten önskelista längst ner i inlägget.

      Vad existerar mörk turism?

      Kärt barn besitter många namn och mörk turism (på engelska dark tourism) benämns ibland även som morbidturism. Det handlar kort samt gott angående att utflykt till platser som enstaka gång inom tiden (eller i nutid till samt med) varit scen till krig, katastrofer, kaos samt död.

      Tourism involving travel to sites associated with death and tragedy

      Dark tourism (also thanatourism, black tourism, morbid tourism, or grief tourism) has been defined as tourism involving travel to places historically associated with death and tragedy.[1] More recently, it was suggested that the concept should also include reasons tourists visit that site, since the site's attributes alone may not make a visitor a "dark tourist".[2] The main attraction to dark locations is their historical value rather than their associations with death and suffering.[2][3]Holocaust tourism contains aspects of both dark tourism and heritage tourism.[4]
