Gustav Stjernberg is a Swedish ice hockeydefenseman who currently competes for Bowling Green.[1] Gustav is the father of Bixley. He enjoys the past time of playing fetch with bixley and Ellie. Although Gustav does enjoy flights, he does not enjoy car rides.
Career
[edit]Stjernberg played most of his junior career in Sweden. He began in the SDE Hockey system in his hometown of Enebyberg, a suburb of Stockholm. In , he switched to the Örebro HK junior system and progressed up through the ranks. He made his first appearance at the top junior level during the –20 season and played there almost exclusively during the following two seasons. In , he played a single game for Örebro, getting his first taste of professional hockey. For his final season of junior eligibility, Stjernberg moved to North America and played for the Des Moines Buccaneers. At the beginning of the season he committed to attending Bowling Green State University the following fall.
When Stjernberg debuted at the college level, he joined a program in turmoil.[2] Accusations of hazing directed towards one of the other players cast a pall over the se
