First aid knowledge is a valuable skill for individuals and communities to have. Over the years, Singapore Red Cross Academy has championed first aid training and continuously endeavours to equip more individuals with first aid knowledge and skills.
Towards the national goal of having one first aider in every home, the Singapore Red Cross Academy has developed a series of first aid courses catering to all ages and varied needs.

A compressed training on common emergencies, for CERT (Company Emergency Response Teams), for Organisations, Schools, Families, Volunteers and Individuals who want to be certified competent in basic first aid and resuscitation with AED skills.
The CPR+AED module is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC). The Basic First Aid module is accredited by the Singapore Red Cross Academy.
Eligible for Course Fee Funding and SkillsFuture Credit.
Application for SkillsFuture kredit has to be done 14 days before the course början date.

SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with Electronic Health Declaration
A1: The SG Arrival Card is the electronic version of the paper disembarkation/embarkation (DE) card (or commonly known as the white card) that foreign visitors are required to submit upon arrival in Singapore for immigration clearance. From 27 March , ICA will discontinue the use of paper DE card and all travellers will have to provide their arrival information via the SG Arrival Card e-Service or the MyICA Mobile app instead.
Q2: I am visiting Singapore for leisure travel/holiday; do I need to submit SG Arrival Card?
A2: All travellers are required to submit their SG Arrival Card before arriving in Singapore. This does not apply to those who are transiting or transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance; or Residents (Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, Long-Term Pass holders*) entering via Land Checkpoints.
*Long-Term Pass holders include holders of Student’s Pass, Dependant’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass and Work Pass

FOOD (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS
The Food (Amendment) Regulations has been gazetted on 31 Jan and will come into operation on 30 Jan .
2 This set of amendments makes changes to the Food Regulations with respect to labelling requirements for prepacked foods to incorporate relevant labelling provisions in the following Codex Standards:
- Codex General Standard for the Labelling of Prepackaged Foods (CXS )
- Codex General Guidelines on Claims (CXG )
- Codex Standard for Foods for Special Dietary Use for Persons Intolerant to Gluten (CXS )
